Anna Swahn, LMT was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. She grew up going to a chiropractor. She was recommended by her chiropractor to see a massage therapist for her headaches and neck pain when she was a teenager. Massage therapy helped her a lot so she decided to go to Omaha School of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2007. She got her first Massage Therapist job in Fremont, NE working for a personal trainer. She then moved back to Arizona and worked for a chiropractor. That’s where she learned how to do Trigger Point Therapy. She is also certified in cupping and hot stones. She likes using cups to suction the muscle to also help release trigger points. Hot stones are a more relaxing technique to help sooth sore muscles with heat. She believes massage therapy, chiropractic care, and physical therapy compliment each other, and doing all three can be beneficial to ones overall health. Anna has two daughters a 13 year old and a 7 month old. She is getting married next year in Jamaica and is gaining 3 step step daughters. She has worked in Essential Motion Spine and Sport’s office before and is very excited to return.
