Dr. Geoff Buchta is a chiropractor at Essential Motion Spine & Sport. Dr. Buchta raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, and attended Grand Island Central Catholic. Following graduation from GICC, Dr. Buchta attended Midland Lutheran College (now Midland University) where he played football and received a B.S. in Biology.
After Midland, Dr. Buchta attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park where he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic and also earning cum laude honors. During his time there, he became involved with various activities including the Motion Palpation Institute club and Mentor’s Club. Prior to graduation; Dr. Buchta had an opportunity to complete 2 separate internships in Olathe and Omaha. There he was able to further his understanding of running an office and improve his manual therapy skills.
Dr. Buchta strives to be most up-to-date, evidence-based physician possible. While attending chiropractic school, he attended many seminars including Motion Palpation Institute seminars to further his diagnostic and adjusting skills, Active Release Technique (ART) courses in which he is Full Body Certified (upper, spine, and lower), Graston and FAKTR courses to further provide him with the skills for soft tissue rehabilitation, and is currently taking courses to be a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
Dr. Buchta practiced in Fremont, NE for 6 years. He built a busy and thriving practice but wanted to be closer to home. He has called Elkhorn home since 2015. In his free time, Dr. Buchta likes to lead an active lifestyle, enjoys getting involved with the community, and spending time with his wife Erica, son Bennett, daughter Lainey, and their 2 dogs.
