Active Release Technique Elkhorn

What is Active Release Technique?

Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) is a hands-on procedure that allows the chiropractor to diagnose and treat soft tissue injuries related to muscle, tendon, fascia, and nerves. Specific injuries include: repetitive strains, adhesions, tissue hypoxia, and joint dysfunction. When muscles, joints, or ligaments are injured, our body lays down scar tissue as a repair patch. If the source of the injury is not corrected, the tissue will accumulate too much scar tissue, which then becomes a problem. A.R.T. breaks up and elongates that scar tissue, allowing the body to heal naturally and superiorly with the restoration of normalized function. Essential Motion Spine & Sport is the only clinic in the Fremont area that utilizes this technique.

A.R.T. is the technique of choice and is becoming the gold standard for soft tissue injuries for most professional and college sports teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals, among a majority of other professional and college athletic teams. It is also the preferred treatment for Ironman Triathletes across the globe. Visit A.R.T.’s website to learn more.
